In the Kingdom of Silla, the reigning queen strives to keep her son Jin Heung (Park Hyung Sik) safe from enemies and assassins. Hoping to disrupt the existing noble hierarchy, she forms a group of warriors known as Hwarang with the intent of protecting Jin Heung, who joins the Hwarang’s ranks under the name Ji Dwi. Alongside him are mysterious commoner Moo Myung (Park Seo Joon), spirited physician’s daughter Ah Ro (Go Ara), aristocratic swordsman Su Ho (Choi Minho), the stoic Ban Ryu (Do Ji Han), the playful Yeo Wool (Cho Yoon Woo), and the innocent Han Sung (V), each grappling with their own burdens and aspirations. Amidst political machinations and forbidden romance, they navigate loyalty, friendship, and the quest for justice. Can they successfully usher in a new era for Silla?

Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth

Former teenage sweethearts separated by uncontrollable circumstances, Sin Joon Young (Kim Woo Bin) and No Eul (Suzy) are reunited as adults – when the latter is commissioned to make a documentary about Joon Young. He is now a superstar actor and singer who's dead-set against filming his documentary and gives No Eul a miserable time. Gradually, he relents to the documentary and uses the time to try and win her heart back. Can they rekindle their once-passionate love? This 2016 South Korean drama series was directed by Park Hyun Suk and Cha Young Hoon.

Hong Seol (Kim Go Eun) hasn’t had the easiest life – although she’s a hardworking and dedicated student, she was forced to take an extended break from her studies to help alleviate her family’s financial situation. She appears to have a stroke of luck when she receives a scholarship for a year’s worth of college tuition, but it was meant for another student: upperclassman Yoo Jung (Park Hae Jin), the heir to a family-owned multinational corporation. While he's athletic and attractive, he's secretly insecure and often vindictive towards those he dislikes. Yoo Jung often finds himself at odds with Hong Seol, but also seems to find her attractive. Things escalate when Yoo Jung’s estranged childhood friend In Ho (Seo Kang Joon) comes back to town – and also falls for Hong Seol. Will this love triangle make Hong Seol's college life hell, or will she find a genuine relationship? This 2016 Korean drama, based on the webtoon of the same name by Soonkki, was directed by Lee Yoon Jung.

Now, war has broken out in a faraway nation, and Si Jin’s unit is deployed on the battleground. Coincidentally, an unpleasant workplace incident has forced Mo Yeon to join a group of medical volunteers in the same country. The former lovers reunite, but can they find love again – against the backdrop of a bloody war? This 2016 South Korean drama series was directed by Lee Eung Bok and Baek Sang Hoon.
