How much will her pride get in the way of finding true happiness? Su Yun Jin (Liu Yi Fei) s scarred by her experiences of begging and scraping by while growing up in a very poor family. When she transfers to a different high school, she meets Cheng Zheng (Kris Wu), the son of a very wealthy family and one of the most popular boys in school.
Zheng falls in love with Yun Jin and actively pursues her through college and while living apart in different cities. Yun Jin at first gets involved in a relationship with Zheng but breaks up with him over their vast economic differences. She doesn’t want to accept any financial charity from Zheng, although Zheng only wants to give her everything because of his love for her. After awhile, Yun Jin’s pride clouds her perceptions of Zheng’s devotion to her. Will Yun Jin be able to realize her true feelings before it’s too late?
“Never Gone” is a 2016 Chinese film directed by Zhou Tuo Ru. It is based on a novel Xin Yi Wu. The film was promoted as the sequel to the 2013 film “So Young” but the two films are unrelated in the storylines.
