Jung Yu Mi is a South Korean actress who got her start by appearing in short films. Born on January 18, 1983, she is known for her quirky image and has made her career through a variety of indie and cult films. She is best known for her role in the hit film “The Crucible” (2011) about a group of handicapped children who are physically and sexually abused by their teachers. Jung’s numerous Best Actress awards, including for her roles in “Oki’s Movie” (2010), “My Dear Desperado” (2010) and “Blossom Again” (2005) make her a popular media darling. Some of her recent roles include the films “Train to Busan” (2016), “The Table” (2017) and “Psychokinesis” (2018) and the television dramas “Discovery of Love” (2014) and “Live” (2018).

Jung Yu Mi should not be confused with another actress Jung Yu Mi, who was born on February 23, 1984.

Han Ye Ri is the stage name of Kim Ye Ri, an award-winning South Korean actress. Born on December 23, 1984, she began her career by acting in short films and indie films. She has since then had a prolific career in mainstream films, including “As One” (2012), for which she won Best New Actress at the 49th Baeksang Arts Awards, as well as “Commitment” (2013) and “Haemoo” (2014). She also has appeared in the television dramas “Imaginary Cat” (2015), “Six Flying Dragons” (2015) and “Switch” (2018).

Jung Eun Chae is the stage name of Jung Sol Mi, a South Korean actress and singer. Born on November 24, 1986, she began her career as a model and then made her acting debut in the 2013 film “Nobody’s Daughter Haewon,” which premiered at the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival and brought her many acting accolades. She also released an EP of self-composed indie folk songs in 2013. Her recent acting credits include the film “The King” (2017) and the television drama “Return” (2018).

Yeon Woo Jin is a South Korean actor. Born on July 5, 1984, as Kim Bong Hee, he debuted as a model at Seoul Fashion Week in 2007. He broke into acting in the 2009 film “Just Friends?” with the stage name Seo Ji Hoo, but his management agency later changed his name to Yeon Woo Jin. He is best known for his roles in the popular television dramas “Arang and the Magistrate” (2012), “When a Man Loves” (2013), “Marriage, Not Dating” (2014), “Divorce Lawyer in Love” (2015) and “Queen for Seven Days” (2017).

Jung Joon Won is a South Korean actor born on July 26, 2004, in Gimhae, South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. He began acting while still a young boy, appearing in the 2012 movie “Pacemaker.” He made his drama debut 2013 sitcom “Potato Star,” following up with a role in “Bomi’s Room” (2014). He later went on to appear in the movie “A Melody to Remember” (2015) and the dramas “My Father is Strange” (2017) and “Jugglers” (2017). More recently, he has starred in “The Great Show” (2019).

At the same table in a café in Seoul, four different women meet four different people to hold some difficult conversations that provide a glimpse into their complicated lives.

Yoo Jin (Jung Yu Mi) is a famous actress who is contacted by her former boyfriend, Chang Suk (Jung Joon Won), and asked to meet up again at a café. As Chang Suk tries to get Yoo Jin to admit that they were “more than just friends,” Yoo Jin begins to wonder what his ulterior motive is for wanting to reconnect with her.

Kyung Jin (Jung Eun Chae) reconnects with Min Ho (Jeon Sung Woo), an aimless man who suddenly vanished after she slept with him a long time ago. Min Ho has returned from a long trip to India but offers no explanation for his behavior in the past.

Eun Hee (Han Ye Ri) meets with Sook Hee (Kim Hye Ok) with an usual proposition. Eun Hee wants to hire Sook Hee to portray her mother at Eun Hee’s upcoming wedding. 

Hye Kyung (Im Soo Jung) is preparing for her upcoming wedding. But she meets with her ex-boyfriend, Woon Chul (Yeon Woo Jin), to suggest that they have a final fling before she ties the knot.

“The Table” is a 2017 South Korean film written and directed by Kim Jong Kwan.
