Gong Yoo is the stage name of Gong Ji Chul, a South Korean actor. The stage name is composed of his father’s last name “Gong”, and his mother’s last name “Yoo”. Born on July 10, 1979, Gong Yoo is a descendant of the Chinese philosopher, Confucius, coming from the Gokbu Gong Clan. Not much is known about Gong Yoo’s childhood. Ma Dong Seok is a South Korean actor. He was born on March 1, 1971, with the name Lee Dong Seok and also goes by the name Don Lee. Prior to his acting career, Ma Dong Seok worked as a personal trainer to mixed martial artists Mark Coleman and Kevin Randleman. Ma Dong Seok made his acting debut in the 2005 film “Heaven’s Soldiers.” He has since appeared in many popular films and television dramas, including the recent “Shut Up! His role in the 2016 film “Train to Busan” garnered him the Best Supporting Actor at the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards. He branched into television dramas with “Six Flying Dragons” (2015-2016) and “W” (2016), for which he won Best Supporting Actor at the 2016 APAN Star Awards and the 2016 MBC Drama Awards.

Kim Eui Sung

Choi Woo Shik is a South Korean actor. Born on March 26, 1990, he immigrated with his family to Canada when he was in the fifth grade and spent 10 years there. He made his acting debut in the 2011 historical drama “The Duo.” After signing with JYP Entertainment in 2012, Choi Woo Shik began landing supporting roles in other popular dramas, including “Rooftop Prince” and “Who Are You?” before his breakout turn in the 2014 hit drama “Fated to Love You (aka You Are My Destiny)” as Lee Yoon, Lee Gun’s scheming but then supportive half-brother. His first leading role was in the 2015 drama “Fool's Love (Ho Goo’s Love).”

She made her entertainment industry debut as part of K-pop chart-topping girl group Wonder Girls in 2007, the single “Irony.” She made her acting debut in the movie “Hellcats” in 2008. She left the group in December 2013 and has since gone on to appear in hit movies such as “Train to Busan” (2016) and “Single Rider” (2017).

Kim Su An is a South Korean child star actress who was born on January 26, 2006. She made her debut in the film release “Sorry, Thanks” in 2011. She has since gone on to appear in movie titles such as “Sprout” (2013) and “Coin Locker Girl” (2015) – as well as the box office smash “Train to Busan” in 2016. She won the Best Supporting Actress prize at the Buil Film Awards for her role in “The Battleship Island” in 2017.

Fund manager Seok Woo (Gong Yoo) lives in Seoul and is separated from his wife.

His life is his work, and he spends relatively little time with his young daughter, who misses him very much.

She asks him to grant him a birthday wish – to take her to the seaside city of Busan. He agrees and decides to take her out for the day on the KTX, a high-speed express train that links some of South Korea’s biggest cities.

They board the train, along with a number of fellow passengers, including a young couple who are expecting a baby, a homeless man, and the members of a high school baseball team.

One more passenger also boards, just as the train is preparing to pull out of the station – a flesh-eating zombie!

The zombie bites and infects a member of the train’s crew, and together the two zombies run rampant on the KTX, turning a large number of the passengers into zombies, too.

Outside the train, things are even worse. A full-blown zombie pandemic is raging, and many cities fall to the flesh-eaters.

The South Korean military manages to establish a safe haven in Busan – so Seok Woo and the other non-zombie survivors must pool their wits if they are to escape the train without getting infected!

Can Seok Woo bring his daughter to safety?
