The King of Goryeo (Joo Jin Mo) is under pressure to produce a male heir after marrying Yuan Dynasty princess No Guk (Song Ji Hyo). However, there’s an obstacle standing in his way: he is in love with Hong Rim (Zo In Sung), the male head of his royal guard, and has no interest in consummating his marriage with the Queen.
