Chu Kei (Annie Liu) is a struggling movie extra who cannot seem to catch a break. No matter how hard she tries, she invariably ends up getting fired from her low-paying jobs by short-tempered production staff and directors.

But she has a remarkable reversal of fortunes when movie studio owner Jeff Sin (Alex Lam) approaches her with an incredible offer: Turn her back on her foundering career as an extra and become the star of a brand-new blockbuster movie. The only catch is that she must promise not to date anyone…

And this last caveat is somewhat problematic for Chu Kei, as she is married to an entertainment news reporter and photographer named Lai Mo (Pakho Chau).

Chu Kei agrees and becomes an overnight A-list celebrity. But when fellow paparazzi start to suspect that she may secretly be married, all sorts of chaos threaten to break loose for this unconventional couple!
