Kubozuka Yosuke is a Japanese actor and model who was born on May 7, 1979, in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. He debuted in the 1995 police-themed drama series “Kindaichi Case Files,” and followed up with the movie “Midori” in 1996. He since went on to appear in the movies “Go” in 2001 and 2003’s “Samurai Resurrection.” In 2016, he starred in the Martin Scorsese-directed epic movie “Silence,” following up with the film “Alley Cat” in 2017.

Kubozuka Yosuke

Kenji Furuya is a Japanese musician, model, and actor who was born on February 9, 1979, in Tokyo, Japan. He studied at Yoyogi Communication School and debuted as an actor in 2001, and in 2003 appeared in the movie “Tegami.” He is one of the founding members of the rock group Dragon Ash, which debuted in 1996 and in 1997 released the album “Mustang!” The group’s 2001 album “Chambers” achieved double-platinum status. In 2017, he starred in the film “Alley Cat.”

Kenji Furuya

Shohei Hino is a Japanese actor and singer who was born in Tokyo, Japan, on May 30, 1949. He began his acting career at the tender age of 13, and starred in the drama series “Wanpaku Toride” in 1966-1967. He has since gone on to appear in scores of movie and drama titles and in 2012 appeared in the Hollywood blockbuster war movie “Emperor,” alongside Tommy Lee Jones. More recently, he starred in the film “Alley Cat” in 2017 and 2020’s “Fukushima 50.”

Hino Shohei

Miura Masaki is a Japanese actor who was born on November 16, 1975, in Wakayama, Japan. He began acting in earnest in the early 2000s, starring in the movie release “Ikka” (2003). He has since gone on to star in dozens of drama series titles, including the movies “The Outrage” (2010), “Anaza” (2012), “Alley Cat” (2017), and “The Outsider” (2018).

Miura Masaki

Shinagawa Hiroshi is a Japanese actor, comedian, and director who was born on April 26, 1972, in Tokyo, Japan. He graduated from the Yoshimoto NSC academy and formed the comedy duo Shinagawa Shoji (also known as Shinasho) with fellow comedian Tomoharu Shoji. He has also appeared in a number of hit movie releases, including “Director Infection” in 2003, 2009’s “Drop,” and “Alley Cat” (2017).

Shinagawa Hiroshi

Hideaki Ashita (Yosuke Kubozuka) was once a promising boxer. But during a bout one day, he suffered injuries that forced him to hang up his gloves. His days are now totally empty and devoid of any joy. Alone, he takes an interest in a local stray cat.

But one day, he finds the cat has gone. He searches for the missing cat and eventually finds it – in the arms of an auto mechanic named Ikumi Umetsu (Kenji Furuya).

The two bicker about who is to look after the cat, and what it should be called – but eventually form a shaky alliance.

But not long after meeting, Hideaki Ashita agrees to protect a single mother and her young son – ostensibly to protect them from her ex-boyfriend-turned stalker.

However, after Ikumi Umetsu attacks the stalker, the duo finds that gangsters and corrupt businesspeople are also involved in the matter – and they all find themselves in the middle of a complicated web of underworld conspiracies that threaten to engulf them completely.

“Alley Cat” is a 2017 Japanese movie that was directed by Hideo Sakaki.
