He also began to appear in drama series titles in the 1980s, such as “Toge no Gunzo” (1982). In 1992, he appeared in the drama “The Last U-Boat” and his further movie credits include “Midnight Diner” in 2015 and the sequel “Midnight Diner 2” (2016). In 2019, he starred in the movie “The Island of Cats.”
