Kim Kang Woo is a South Korean actor. Born on July 11, 1978, he made his acting debut in the 2002 film “The Coast Guard” while he was still in his last year at Chung-Ang University. He earned the nickname “Mr. Right” with his subsequent roles in the television dramas “Breathless” (2003) and “Three Leafed Clover” (2005) because of his wholesome characters. Kim Kang Woo became a star after he starred in the hit film “Le Grand Chef” in 2007 and has starred in many films and dramas since, including “Haeundae Lovers” (2012), “Golden Cross” (2014), “Missing Noir M” (2015) and “Goodbye Mr. Black” (2016) and “My Husband, Mr. Oh” (2018). Kim Kang Woo also has released a number of songs as a solo artist and in collaboration with other artists. In 2010, he married his longtime girlfriend Han Moo Young, who is the older sister of actress Han Hye Jin.

She made her acting debut in the 2009 television series “High Kick Through the Roof” and then found fame in 2012 with her role in the drama “Queen In Hyun’s Man.” She also has starred in the popular dramas “My Love From the Star” (2013), “My Secret Hotel” (2014), “One More Happy Ending” (2016) and “Goblin” (2016-2017). Born Ahn Yeon Seok on April 11, 1984 in Jinju South Gyeongsang Province in South Korea, Yoo Yeon Seok followed his older brother to Seoul while in his junior year in high school. When he decided to take acting classes, Yoo met a friend that later went on to work with Oldboy film director Park Chan Wook. Noting some physical similarities, his friend encouraged him to audition for a role in the critically-acclaimed film Oldboy (2003). Yoo Yeon Seok ended up making his acting debut with a minor role in Oldboy, and continued his studies at the Sejong University, eventually earning a degree in Film Arts.

After a long hiatus, Yoo Yeon Seok returned in the medical drama “General Hospital 2” in 2008. Later in 2013, his role in the popular television drama “Reply 1994” (2013) propelled him into the limelight. In 2015, Yoo was cast into his first leading role as a chef and restaurant owner in the romantic comedy series “Warm and Cozy” written by the Hong sisters and set in Jeju Island. Later that year, he went on to star in another romantic comedy “The Beauty Inside” (2015).

Four very different couples with very different problems, needs, and concerns face up to their worries and obstacles at the start of a brand new year.

Ji Ho (Kim Kang Woo) is a divorcee police detective from a violent crime unit who meets Hyo Young (Yoo In Na), a rehab trainer who needs protection as she seeks to conclude her divorce. The two have their own issues, but find that the longer they spend together, the more they realize they have in common.

Jae Heon (Yoo Yeon Seok) and Jin Ah (Lee Yeon Hee) are two young twentysomethings who are having a hard time in their respective lives and travel to Argentina, where they meet for the first time. Over time, they realize that they could inspire one another to take positive steps to rebuild their dreams.

Meanwhile, Yong Chan (Lee Dong Hwi) is the chief executive of a travel agency. He is set to wed his fiancée Yao Lin (Chen Du Ling). But when he is cheated out of all of his money, he decides to keep the setback from her – and her family.

An avid gardener (Choi Sooyoung) is beset on all sides by naysayers and prejudice as she tries to make a success of her romance with her boyfriend Rae Hwan (Yoo Tae Oh), a snowboarder who represents his country at the Paralympic Games.

“New Year Blues” is a 2020 South Korean movie that was directed by Hong Ji Young.
