Welcome to the Guesthouse

Joon Geun (Lee Hak Joo), a university student struggling to graduate, finds himself homeless after being kicked out of his dormitory. Desperate for survival during Gangwon Province's harsh winter, he lands a job at "Welcome Guesthouse", a surf-oriented establishment. Despite having no surfing experience, Joon Geun quickly learns the sport and becomes part of the team. When a confrontation with a difficult patron leads to a high-stakes surfing competition, Joon Geun must prove his newfound skills. However, a critical job interview scheduled on the same day as the competition forces him to choose between his potential corporate career and his passion for surfing. Torn between two drastically different paths, Joon Geun must make a life-changing decision that will determine his future. This is a 2020 South Korean sports comedy film directed by Shim Yo Han.
