But after being kicked out of the university dormitory for failure to enroll in the upcoming winter semester, Joon Geun isn’t so sure anymore. With Gangwon Province’s harsh winter fast approaching, Joon Geun knows that the only way he’s going to survive is to find a job that also provides room and board. Working side-by-side with a staff of experts, Joon Geun is quick to pick up the sport; but when a fight with a snobby patron leads to a high-stakes surfing competition, he realizes he still has a lot to learn. With the help of some of the establishment’s most seasoned guests, Joon Geun prepares for the competition but one call from his school advisor changes everything. With a job interview now scheduled for the same day as the match, Joon Geun finds himself torn between the two.
