Song Sae Byuk is a South Korean actor who was born on December 26, 1979, in Gunsan, North Jeolla Province, South Korea. He began acting in stage plays in the 1990s, but eventually transitioned into movie acting in 2009, when he starred in “Mother.” He then went on to appear in the films “The Servant” (2010), “Meet the In-laws” (2011), and “The Suck Up Project: Mr. XXX-Kisser” (2012). In 2018, he starred in the drama “My Mister” and in 2022, he starred in the movie “Special Delivery.”

Song Sae Byuk

Yoo Sun is the stage name of Wang Yoo Sun, an award-winning South Korean actress. Born on February 11, 1976, she made her acting debut in 1999 in the film “Mayonnaise” and in the television series “Hometown of Legends: Sang-Sa-Yo.” She has since appeared in many popular theater productions, films and television dramas, including the recent “My Too Perfect Sons” (2009), “Take Care of Us, Captain” (2012) and “Sweet, Savage Family” (2015). Yoo Sun also appeared in the special female soldier edition of “Real Men Season 3” (2015). Yoo Sun married Cha Hyo Joo in 2011.

Jang Hyuk Jin is a South Korean actor. Born on August 16, 1971, he made his acting debut in 2004 with minor film roles and has had a prolific career in mostly supporting roles. He made his small-screen debut in the 2014 television drama “Reset” and has also appeared in the popular dramas “Hwajung” (2015), “Beautiful Mind” (2016), “Romantic Doctor Kim” (2016-2017) and “Suspicious Partner” (2017).

Young Hoon (Song Sae Byuk) is a seemingly ordinary man whose life takes a chilling turn when his wife is suddenly murdered. DNA evidence found at the crime scene appears to indicate that Young Hoon’s closest friend Joon Sung (Oh Min Seok) was the murderer. The police arrest and charge Joon Sung with the crime, despite his pleas of innocence. The only person who believes he did not kill the woman is his wife Da Yeon (Yoo Sun). She is so certain that he did nothing wrong that she approaches Young Hoon in a bid to convince him to testify in favor of her husband.

To her surprise, Young Hoon agrees, but only on the condition that she first helps him uncover the truth about what really happened on the day of his wife’s murder. She agrees, but the ensuing alliance seems shaky at best. Will this unlikely partnership really uncover the fact behind what happened...and can they really trust one another?

“The Culprit” is a 2019 South Korean movie that was directed by Goh Jung Wook.
