Taek Il (Park Jung Min) is an 18-year-old struggling with life's challenges, finding himself in Gunsan after running away from home. At a Chinese restaurant, he encounters Geo Seok (Ma Dong Seok), a burly cook with whom he develops an unconventional friendship marked by playful antagonism. As their relationship evolves, Taek Il discovers Geo Seok harbors a mysterious, painful past. Meanwhile, his best friend Sang Pil (Jung Hae In) takes a dubious job collecting debts to support his grandmother battling Alzheimer's. Together, they navigate the complexities of youth, survival, and hope in a difficult world. Based on the web cartoon "Start" by Jo Geum San, this is a 2019 South Korean film written and directed by Choi Jung Yeol.
