Kukai (Sometani Shota), a Japanese monk studying in Chang'an during the Tang Dynasty, finds his scholarly pursuits disrupted when the Emperor appears possessed. As they delve deeper into the mystery, Kukai and Bai Le Tian must determine whether the supernatural feline is truly responsible for the court's sinister events.
