Kim Sung Kyun is an award-winning South Korean actor. Born on July 5, 1980, he began his career in 2009 in theatrical productions before breaking into films in “Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time” (2012), for which he swept the Best New Actor awards that year, including the 48th Baeksang Arts Awards and the 20th Korean Culture and Entertainment Awards. His other critically acclaimed roles include the films “The Neighbor” and the television dramas “Reply 1994” (2013), “Reply 1988” (2015) and “Untouchable” (2017-2018).

Jo Jin Woong is the stage name of Jo Won Joon, a South Korean actor. Born on March 3, 1976, he made his acting debut in theater before appearing in the 2004 film “Once Upon a Time in High School.” He has enjoyed a prolific career in both films and television since then and is best known for his roles in the films “Deep Rooted Tree” (2011), “Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time” (2012), “A Hard Day” (2014) and the television series “Signal” (2016).

Kim Young Ae was an award-winning veteran South Korean actress. Born on April 21, 1951, she launched her career after participating in an open recruitment for one of the major television networks in 1971. After making her acting debut in the 1971 television drama “Chief Inspector,” she enjoyed a prolific career in films and television dramas. Some of her memorable recent roles included “The Moon Embracing the Sun” (2012), “Medical Top Team” (2013), “Liar Game” (2014), “Birth of a Beauty” (2014), “Kill Me, Heal Me” (2015), “Mirror of the Witch” (2016), “Doctors” (2016) and “Laurel Tree Tailors” (2016-2017), as well as the film “Proof of Innocence” (2016). Kim Young Ae passed away on April 9, 2017, at the age of 66 from recurrent pancreatic cancer.

Yoon Jin Yi is a South Korean actress who was born on July 27, 1990, in Daejeon, South Korea. She graduated from Sejong University’s Department of Film Arts and debuted in the 2012 drama series “A Gentleman’s Dignity.” She has since followed up with roles in the movies “We Are Brothers” (2014) and “Helios” (2015). She has also starred in the drama “It's Okay, That’s Love” (2014) and the more recent “Young Lady and Gentleman” (2022).

Born on September 7, 1970, he made his acting debut in the 2002 film “Over the Rainbow.” He has since had a prolific career in both films and television dramas, including the recent “Liar Game” (2014), “Pied Piper” (2016), “Voice” (2017) and “Saimdang, Light’s Diary” (2017).

When they were just young boys, brothers Park Ha Yeon (Kim Sung Kyun) and Park Sang Yeon (Jo Jin Woong) were forced to separate at an orphanage: Their father had died and their distraught mother Seung Ja (Kim Young Ae) decided to put them up for adoption, realizing that she could not hope to raise them alone. Now, 30 years later, Sang Yeon lives in America, where he is a devout and austere Christian priest. Ha Yeon, meanwhile, still lives in South Korea. He is a fiery shaman who prays to spirits and animist deities. When a television show production team hears about what has happened to them, the team asks Sang Yeon to come to South Korea to be reunited with his long-lost brother and biological mother.

Sang Yeon travels to South Korea, but moments after their emotional reunion, Seung Ja, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, wanders out of the television studio and vanishes. The brothers are forced to take to the road to search the entire country for their mother. Can this hot-tempered shaman and the rigidly straight-laced pastor put aside their religious differences for the time it takes them to track down their mother?
