Shu Qi is a Taiwanese actress. Born on April 16, 1976, in Taiwan, she moved to Hong Kong at the age of 17 to pursue an acting career. Shu Qi was a soft porn actress for a period of time before breaking into mainstream films and winning many acting accolades. Some of her recent credits include the films “The Last Woman Standing” (2015), “My Best Friend’s Wedding” (2016) and “The Adventurers” (2017). Shu Qi married Hong Kong director Stephen Fung in 2016.

She was born on September 6, 1976, in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, and made her debut in the entertainment industry in 1997. Since then, she has released a couple of solo albums and has appeared in a wide variety of films, television reality programs, and dramas, including “The Perfect Couple” (2007).

Han Ki Chul (Lee Beom Soo) is a mid-level gangster tasked with protecting Lim Aryong (Shu Qi), a dangerous female gangster from Hong Kong accused of killing a rival gang leader. To keep her safe from pursuing assassins, Ki Chul cleverly pretends she is his girlfriend and takes her to meet his mother. As the danger intensifies, they are forced to flee back to Hong Kong together, with unexpected tensions and potential romantic sparks developing between the unlikely pair.
