Ditto

The year is 1999 and Kim Yong (Yeo Jin Goo) is a college junior majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He has just returned to college after completing his military service where he pines for his first love Seo Han Sol (Kim Hye Yoon). While he wistfully dreams of getting back together with her, he makes a remarkable discovery.   He comes across a ham radio set that somehow puts him in touch with Kim Mu Nee (Cho Yi Hyun), a sociology student at the same university. The remarkable point? Kim Mu Nee lives in 2022… the radio set lets them communicate with one another in real-time, despite the massive time gap. The duo begins to talk to one another about their respective love lives and problems. Eventually, they become soulmates. But will they ever find a way to meet? This film is a remake of a 2000 South Korean movie of the same name. “Ditto” is a 2022 South Korean science fiction movie that was directed by Seo Eun Young.
