Kim Ji Seok is a South Korean actor. Born on April 21, 1981, he attended middle school and high school in England and majored in German at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. He also has a master’s degree in Cultural Contents Planning from Kyung Hee University. Kim Ji Seok started his career as a rapper in the boy band LEO but the group disbanded after only eight months. His agency recommended he take his stage name because his birth name, Kim Bo Seok, could be confused with two other veteran actors. Kim Ji Seok began his acting career in the 2004 music video for Kim Hyung Joong’s “She’s Laughing,” followed by several minor roles. But he became a household name after he appeared in the successful 2009 film “Take Off.” He has starred in many other films and television dramas since, including “Slave Hunters” (2010), “I Need Romance 2” (2012), “Cheongdam-dong Alice” (2012), “Angel Eyes” (2014), “Unkind Women” (2015), “Cheer Up!” (2015) and “Oh Hae Young Again” (2016) and “20th Century Boy and Girl” (2017).

South Korea’s Muju County wants to host the 2002 Winter Olympics, but fears the bid will end in failure if the country does not have a national ski jumping team. The hopeful Coach Bang (Sung Dong Il) intervenes, cobbling together a team reluctantly led by Bob (Ha Jung Woo), a Korean-American alpine skier and adoptee who is looking for his birth mother. The coach also recruits the ex-drug addict Choi Hong Cheol (Kim Dong Wook), restaurant worker Ma Jae Bok (Choi Jae Hwan), and caretaker Kang Chil Gu (Kim Ji Seok).
