Im Chang Jung is a South Korean actor, TV personality, and musician who was born on November 30, 1973, in Icheon, South Korea. He studied at ChungAng University, where he majored in Theater and Film. He made his acting debut in the movie “North Korean Partisan in South Korea” in 1990, and went on to appear in hit movie titles such as “The Rules of the Game” (1994) and “Sex Is Zero” (2002). He made his music debut in 1995, releasing the album “Already to Me.” More recently, he has appeared in the movie “Gate” (2018) and the drama series “Dazzling” (2019).

Ko So Young is a South Korean actress and model. Born on October 6, 1972, she made her acting debut in the television drama “Love Tomorrow” in 1992. After a couple of unsuccessful projects in 2007, Ko So Young took a nine-year hiatus before returning to the television drama “Perfect Wife” in 2017. In 2010, Ko So Young married actor Jang Dong Gun, and they have two children.

Beom Su (Im Chang Jung) dreams of becoming a baseball umpire, but works as a traffic control officer for the time being. When he meets theater major and aspiring actress Hyeon Ju (Ko So Young), after she crashed her car while driving without a license, he makes a surprising decision: instead of issuing her a fine, he offers to teach her how to drive. Soon enough, they become friends, exchanging letters and sharing their dreams with each other. Having fallen in love, Beom Su proposes to Hyeon Ju, but she rejects him as she plans to leave Korea and study abroad. They eventually drift apart, following their own paths. Years later, they've both achieved their dreams – Beom Ju has become a baseball umpire, while Hyeon Ju is an up-and-coming actress, and the two reunite via baseball. Will a decision at the first pitch of the opening game of the Korean Series make it all worth it?
