MAMAMOO is a South Korean girl group formed in 2014 that is known for its retro, jazz and R&B sounds. The four members of the group are Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein and Hwasa.

Solar is the stage name of Kim Yong Sun, a South Korean singer and actress best known for being the leader and main vocalist of the K-pop girl group MAMAMOO. Born on February 21, 1991, she debuted with MAMAMOO in 2014, and the girl group was considered to be one of the best debuts of the year. The group has released several soundtracks to popular television dramas since, including “Marriage, Not Dating” (2014), “Spy” (2015) and “Twenty Again” (2015). Solar made her acting debut in the 2015 television drama “Imaginary Cat” and also joined the cast of "We Got Married" in 2016 with singer Eric Nam.

Moon Byul is a South Korean rapper, singer, actress, and TV personality who was born in Bucheon, South Korea, on December 22, 1992. She studied at the Paekche Institute of the Arts and made her debut as a member of the all-female K-pop act MAMAMOO in June 2014, following up in 2015 with her acting debut in the drama series “Start Love.” In May 2018, she released her debut solo single "Selfish,” which featured vocals from Red Velvet’s Seulgi. She has also appeared in a number of variety TV shows, such as “In Sync” (2019).

Moon Byul

Whee In, born Jung Whee In, is a South Korean singer. She was born in Jeonju, North Jeolla, South Korea, on April 17, 1995, and made her debut in the entertainment industry in 2014, as a member of the K-pop group, MAMAMOO. In 2018, she made her debut as a solo artist, releasing her first single, "Easy." Since her debut, she has participated in various radio and television programs and appeared alongside her bandmates in the film documenting the group’s first world tour, “MAMAMOO: My Con The Movie” (2023).

Whee In

Hwa Sa, born Ahn Hye Jin, is an award-winning South Korean singer, songwriter, rapper, and television personality. She was born on July 23, 1995 in Jeonju, South Korea, and made her debut in the entertainment industry in 2014, as a member of the K-pop girl group, MAMAMOO. In 2019, she made her debut as a solo artist, with her digital single, “Twit” which successfully topped the charts, earning her the coveted “Triple Crown” and multiple awards including, “Best Solo Artist” and “Artist of the Year”. Making her reality show debut in 2017, she has continued to participate in various reality programs, including “Home Alone: Girl’s Secret Party” (2020).
