Rino Sakuragi (Yuna Taira) and Ren Kiritani (Alan), longtime friends since middle school, navigate the delicate transition from friendship to love. As Rino's feelings for Ren deepen, Ren simultaneously realizes his own romantic emotions. Their relationship blossoms with joy and tender moments, but their happiness is abruptly challenged when Rino is diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a progressive neurodegenerative disease that gradually weakens her body.
