Synopsis
Drawn in by the prospect of a lucrative job offer, computer programmer Pan Sheng (Lay Zhang) gets on a plane with a group of other recruits to join an overseas gaming company. However, things are not as they seem: during a layover, Pan Sheng and the others are whisked away to an abandoned factory in the countryside, where they're imprisoned and forced to participate in cyber fraud schemes. Pan Sheng meets Liang An Na (Gina Jin), an aspiring model who was unwittingly recruited to help lure in potential victims. One of An Na's targets ends up addicted to the group's online gambling scheme, even attempting suicide after draining his savings. His girlfriend alerts the police, and dedicated police officer Zhao Dong Ran (Yong Mei) takes the case on, aiming to dismantle the operation and rescue the trapped workers. Will Pan Sheng and An Na make it out?
