I Believe

Lin Chu Chu (Jessie Li) has looked forward to her wedding with her boyfriend of ten years for so long that she's been in contact with a wedding planner, Zhang Yang (Chang Chen) without any input from the groom! However, Zhang Yang grows suspicious after countless plans fall through, and asks Chu Chu for a photo of her groom-to-be. To his surprise, he recognizes the man – because Zhang Yang is already planning his wedding to another woman. Devastated, Chu Chu decides to crash the wedding, but Zhang Yang intervenes, comforting her to avoid causing a scene. Chu Chu and Zhang Yang get to know each other and begin dating, but it's not without its own twists and troubles, like the appearance of handsome and wealthy Yu Ke Feng (Li Xian), who's also interested in Chu Chu. Are there wedding bells in the future for these two, or is this another romance not meant to be? This 2023 Chinese film was directed by Wing Shya.
