To her surprise, Suk Hyun isn't afraid of her and treats her with kindness, giving her a taste of friendship for the first time. However, when Suk Hyun's father flees, Mother orders Il Yeong to kill Suk Hyun – and for the first time, Il Yeong considers disobeying, even if it means losing everything.
