The Truth Beneath

Up-and-coming politician Jong Chan (Kim Joo Hyuk) has just won his party's nomination for the upcoming National Assembly election with support and help from his wife Yeon Hong (Son Ye Jin). With fifteen days left before the election, the family is under high pressure to ensure that nothing will jeopardize Jong Chan's chances of success at the ballot box. However, their teenage daughter Min Jin (Shin Ji Hoon) suddenly goes missing, and neither parent can figure out where she is. While Yeon Hong is concerned, Jong Chan convinces her not to notify the authorities, fearing negative publicity. As days go by without Min Jin's return, Yeon Hong decides to look for Min Jin herself, but instead discovers that nearly everything she thought she knew about her daughter was a lie. Will Yeon Hong manage to find her daughter, and what consequences might this have for Jong Chan's election?
