After years of hard work, Jeong Yeon (Jeon Do Yeon) and her husband Jong Bae (Go Soo) open up an auto body repair shop together. However, their loving marriage begins to crumble after Jong Bae guarantees a loan for a friend who ends up defaulting on the loan and taking his own life. In desperation, Jeong Yeon agrees to carry what she believes are uncut gemstones while traveling, in exchange for cash – only to be arrested in Paris for smuggling nearly 40 pounds of cocaine. Stranded and imprisoned on the French island of Martinique, Jeong Yeon struggles to maintain her dignity and hope for her family's future while thousands of miles away from home. Will Jeong Yeon manage to clear her name, or will she remain in prison for a crime she didn't know she was committing? This film was based on a true story.
