Behind the Camera

Eccentric film director E J Yong accepts a contract to direct a short film for a smartphone advertising campaign. He casts veteran actress Youn Yuh Jung in the lead role, as well as over a dozen other stars, but informs them that this will be no ordinary shoot: he's planning to direct and shoot the film from Hawaii, utilizing smartphones, webcams, and other remote communication. However, the subterfuge doesn't end there – while Director E planned to stay in Seoul while pretending to be in Hawaii, he instead decides to direct the film from Los Angeles while still having the cast believe he's in Hawaii. Understandably, the cast and crew are confused, but decide to follow the director's lead... until mounting technical issues and rising interpersonal tensions lead to a revolt. Will this film ever get made, or has Director E gone too far in the name of art?
