Honey Money Phony

Lin Qing Lang (Gina Jin) thinks everything is fine with her relationship with Zhang Zi Jun (Wang Hao) – until she finds out that he's actually saddled her with a crushing debt of more than 200,000 yuan. As she struggles to figure out what to do next, she happens to run into Ouyang Hui (Sunny Sun), a street-smart con artist who might just be able to help her. Together, they hatch a plan to get back at Zi Jun with the help of fake accident-stager Dong Xiao Hui (Li Xue Qin) and veteran scammer Bai Shi Tong (Wang Yao Qing). However, as Qing Lang and Ouyang Hui spend more time together, she starts to fall for him. Has Ouyang Hui managed to steal Qing Lang's heart for real, or is this just another one of his scams? This movie was adapted from the 2020 Thai film "The Con-Heartist."
