In the early 1500s, the tyrannical king Yeonsan (Kim Kang Woo) is consumed with lust and vengeance as he conducts a bloody purge. The women are torn from their families with scant regard to their marital status or social class, igniting the fury of both the nobility and the common folk. But Sung Jae has his own dark motives.
