Top finance student Gao Han (Ou Hao) has just scored the opportunity of a lifetime in the form of a six-month internship at Bluestone, a leading international investment bank. While the other interns in his cohort come from privileged backgrounds, Gao Han comes from more modest means, but his strong work ethic and determination soon draw the attention of chief analyst Zhang Tuo De (Andy Lau), who decides to mentor Gao Han himself.
