High schooler Sahoko Wakaume (Mei Hata) has been burned by love in the past, and now despises handsome boys. She also has a particular dislike for all-male idol groups. So when Kota Kirigaya (Kazuya Ohashi), the leader of the chart-topping boy band LiKE LEGEND, walks into her mother’s restaurant, she is initially horrified. He tries to win her over with his charm, but is stunned to find her angrily defensive. Despite their differences, the duo begins to form an unlikely friendship. This soon deepens when Kota finds himself at the center of a scandal. Over time, Sahoko learns that Kota is more than just a pretty face – and that he, like her, also carries scars from the past with him. As they spend more time together, the sparks of romance begin to fly. But could this idol-hating young woman really bring herself to love one of the country’s biggest pop stars? This movie is adapted from the manga series by Momoko Koda.
