In a remote mountain valley, the deposed teenage monarch Prince Nosan, also known as Lee Hong Gui (Park Ji Hoon), arrives in exile, haunted by the brutal execution of his loyalists. His arrival brings tension to the village led by Eom Heung Do (Yoo Hai Jin), who initially hopes for prosperity but finds himself protecting a broken, suicidal prince. As Prince Nosan struggles with his lost sovereignty, he finds an unexpected purpose in mentoring Heung Do’s son and bonding with the villagers.
