Narasimha, a farm laborer, leads a simple life with his wife Uma as they work hard to pay for their children’s education. But when he delivers food to rebel forces in a Maoist camp, he finds himself embroiled in a clash between the police and the rebels – and at the heart of the most violent grassroots movement in India today. Forced by the situation to fight alongside rebel leader Velu, the apolitical Narasimha wonders if he is on the right side of the conflict.
