He originally hoped to become a professional basketball player but suffered a career-ending injury while still at school. He went on to study Theater and Film at&nbsp;Chung-Ang University, following up with his acting debut in the 1997 drama series “Me.” He then went on to appear in the drama “School 2” (1999) and the movie “Plum Blossom” (2000) and the comedy-drama “My Love Patzzi” (2002).
