Hidden behind the palace walls, a forbidden love story unfolds between Crown Prince Lee Hwon (Kim Soo Hyun) and Yeon Woo (Han Ga In), a bright and compassionate young noblewoman chosen to be his future queen. However, a dark conspiracy orchestrated by those vying for power tragically separates them, leading Yeon Woo to a cruel fate. Years later, a mysterious shaman named Wol (also played by Han Ga In) appears in the palace, eerily resembling the lost Yeon Woo. As Lee Hwon, still haunted by his first love, seeks to uncover the truth behind her disappearance, he finds himself drawn to Wol. Can love truly transcend the boundaries of life and death, and can ancient secrets be unveiled to reclaim a stolen destiny? This drama was based on the novel of the same name by Jung Eun Gwol.
