Wu Chun is a popular actor and singer working in Taiwan. He was born as Goh Kiat Chun on October 10, 1979, in Brunei, a sovereign state located on the island of Borneo in Southeast Asia. After growing up in Brunei, Wu Chan attended RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He was working as a model in Taiwan and Singapore and managing his family-owned gym in Brunei when Wu Chun was discovered in Taiwan and asked to star in the 2006 Taiwanese drama “Tokyo Juliet” although he did not know how to speak Mandarin at the time. He was a member of the Taiwanese Mandopop vocal boy band Fahrenheit from 2005 until he left in 2011 to concentrate on his acting career. He has starred in many popular Taiwanese dramas since, including “Sunshine Angel” (2011) and “Happy 300 Days” (2013). Wu Chan is a Bruneian citizen and is fluent in Mandarin, Taiwanese Hokkien, Brunei Malay and English. In 2013, Wu Chan announced that he has a wife and a 3-year-old daughter and that his wife was expecting a son. He kept his marriage a secret to protect his wife from the publicity.

Ella Chen is a popular Taiwanese singer and actress. She was born on June 18, 1981, with the name Chen Chia Hua but was given the name “Ella” by her record company after she took a personality test. Her English name before working in the entertainment industry was Water. Ella Chen is best known for being a member of the popular Chinese pop girl group S.H.E, which she joined after participating in the Universal 2000 Talent and Beauty Girl Contest at the insistence of her sister. Ella Chen made her acting debut in 2002 with the Taiwanese drama “Magical Love” and has starred in many other popular series since, including “Down With Love” (2010) and “Reaching for the Stars” (2005). Her group S.H.E also has contributed theme songs to many television dramas. Ella Chen has been married to Alvin Lai since 2012.

Danson Tang is a Taiwanese Mandopop singer, actor and model. Born on September 2, 1984, he started out as a model before breaking into acting in the 2004 television drama “Blazing Courage.” He has starred in many popular dramas since, including “Hana Kimi” (2006), “They Kiss Again” (2007), “Material Queen” (2011), “Still Have Time to Love You” (2013), “Fabulous 30” (2014) and “Murphy’s Law of Love” (2015). 

Beginning in 2007, Danson Tang released many songs and albums as a solo artist. The talented star also has published four photo novels and books.

Ethan Juan is a Taiwanese actor. Born on November 8, 1982, he also goes by the names Ethan Ruan, Juan Ching Tien or Ruan Jing Tian. He also is known by his nicknames Xiao Tian, Si Xiao Hai, Ruan 7 Tian and Ruan GING Tian. He was first discovered in 2002 when he accompanied a friend to an audition. He began his career as a model and then made his acting debut in the 2004 television “Michael the Archangel’s Dance.” But it wasn’t until his role in the hit 2008 drama “Fated to Love You” that he became a star. Ethan Juan has starred in many other popular films and dramas, including “Hana Kimi” (2006), “Summer X School” (2007) and “My Queen” (2009) and “Legend of Fuyao” (2018).

Jiro Wang is a Taiwanese actor, singer and model. Born on August 24, 1981, he began his career as a model before he broke into music and acting. Jiro Wang used to be the leader singer of an underground band called Karma but is now a member of the Mandopop vocal group Fahrenheit. Jiro Wang made his acting debut in 2002, but it was his leading role in the 2005 Taiwanese drama “KO One” and its 2007 sequel “The X-Family” that turned him into a star. Some of his recent credits include “The Crossing Hero” (2015) and “Rakshasa Street” (2017). Jiro Wang graduated from Fu Shin Trade and Arts College with a degree in Advertising Design, and he has been investing in many business ventures in the arts. In 2010, he started his own fashion label, M JO. In 2014, Jiro Wang and his fellow Fahrenheit members Calvin Chen and Wu Chun became joint investors in WoMen Hair, an upscale hair salon in Taipei. He also leveraged his love of Japanese manga to invest in the exclusive-agent rights for Chibi Maruko-chan merchandise in Taiwan.

Tang Zhi Ping is a Taiwanese actor and model. Born on June 6, 1978, in Thailand, the actor also goes by the English name Ryan Tang. He made his acting debut in the 2003 television drama “Ming Yang Si Hai” and has appeared in many other dramas since then, including “Tokyo Juliet” (2006), “The Hospital” (2006), “Bod Beautiful Woman” (2008) and “Zhen Qing Ban Xin Yue” (2009).

Taiwanese high jumper Zuo Yi Quan (Wu Chun) is a rising star and a documentary movie about his accomplishments is seen far and wide. In the United States, Lu Rui Xi (Ella Chen) sees Yi Quan in the documentary and is instantly smitten. Determined to meet him, Rui Xi decides to transfer to Ying Kai University in Taiwan, where Yi Quan attends school. But there’s a small catch! Ying Kai University is an all-boys’ school! So Rui Xi undergoes a physical transformation to disguise herself as a boy in order to attend the school. Once there, Rui Xi manages to become roommates with Yi Quan and also befriends Jin Xiu Yi (Jiro Wang), who begins to question his sexuality when he becomes attracted to Rui Xi. How long can Rui Xi keep up her ruse? “For You in Full Bloom/Hana Kimi” is a 2006 Taiwanese drama series directed by Wang Ming Tai. It is based on the Japanese shojo manga series “Hanazakari no Kimitachi e,” which is commonly known as “Hana Kimi,” by Hisaya Nakajo.
