Lee Joon Gi, which also is written as Lee Jun Ki, is a popular South Korean singer and actor. Born on April 17, 1982, he is often referred to as a “flower boy,” a phrase used to indicate an good-looking man with pretty features. Lee Joon Gi began working as a model in 2001 and broke into acting with his first major role in the hit film “The King and the Clown” in 2005. In 1876, amidst the third year of Emperor Gojong’s reign, tension continues to rise between political factions that disagree with the emperor’s desire to open Korea’s formerly-closed borders. Increased foreign influence has introduced western-made guns into Korea, which had previously relied on swords for combat – and Park Yoon Kang (Lee Joon Gi), the son of a great swordsman, uses this to his advantage. After his father’s murder and his sister’s enslavement, Yoon Kang decides to arm himself with a rifle to enact his revenge upon the ruling class.
