Jasper Liu is a popular Taiwanese actor and model who is known for his iconic head of curly “broccoli” hair. He also is sometimes referred to as the “Taiwanese Rain” because of his resemblance to the Korean singer-actor or the media-dubbed “Taiwan’s most adorable boyfriend.” Born on August 12, 1986, as Liu Yi Hao, Jasper Liu started his career as a model before crossing over into acting. He previously went by Max Liu, which is still used by his management agency, but he changed his first name to Jasper after he found out that the name Max is a common name for dogs. He also is known as Ryu in Japan. Although he branched out into acting with a small cameo role in the 2009 Taiwanese television series “Mo Nu 18 Hao,” it was his next small role in 2011’s idol drama “In Time With You” that launched his acting career. His minor character in that series sported a perm, and Jasper Liu decided to keep the curly hairstyle and it has become his signature look. He most recently starred in the 2014 drama “Love Myself or You.” Jasper Liu’s cousin is actor Angus Hsieh.

Puff Guo is a popular Taiwanese model, actress and singer who ranked No. 1 on the list of FHM Taiwan’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World for two years in a row in 2013 and 2014. Born on June 30, 1988, Puff Guo had a challenging childhood after her mother died of breast cancer when Puff Guo was 9 years old and relatives raised her and her sister while their father worked in Mainland China. She dropped out of school at the age of 20 to start modeling to support her sister’s education. In 2011, Puff Guo made her music debut as part of the Taiwanese girl group Dream Girls as well as her acting debut in the drama “Inborn Pair.” She has since achieved leading-lady status with her roles in “Just You” (2013) and “Love Myself or You” (2014). Puff Guo is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese and speaks a little Korean and English.

Born on June 6, 1989, as Lai Lin En, she gained fame after wining second runner-up at the Miss Asia Pageant in 2008, becoming only the second Taiwanese woman to win a title at the pageant. After making her acting debut in a small role in the 2007 television drama “Summer x Summer,” she went on to star in many popular films and television dramas, including “Bull Fighting” (2007), “My Queen” (2009), “Ti Amo Chocolate” (2012), “Pleasantly Surprised” (2014) and “Dandelion Love” (2015).

Sean Lee is a Taiwanese actor, model and singer. Born on April 7, 1982, as Lee Shao Xiang, he also is known as Shao Xiang. He began his entertainment career after winning the Men’s Uno modeling competition. Sean Lee made his acting debut in the 2004 television drama “Say Yes Enterprise” and has since starred in many popular dramas, including “It Started With a Kiss” (2005), “K.O.3an Guo” (2009), “Love Family” (2013), “Someone Like You” (2015) and “Dandelion Love” (2015).

Born on July 15, 1986, as Sun Qin Yue, he made his acting debut in 2007 in the television drama “Why Why Love,” but began making his mark in 2014 when he appeared in the popular dramas “Dear Mom” and “Love Myself or You.” He also has starred in “Home Sweet Home” (2017). Yorke Sun also is the leader of the Taiwanese boy band 4ever. He is the son of veteran actor Liu Shang Chien.

Born on July 24, 1983, Ba Yu is considered to be a multi-talented artist who can act, sing and host and made her debut as a musical actress. She was nominated for the Best Travel Program Host at the 48th Golden Bell Awards. She landed her first television drama role in “Toast Boy’s Kiss” in 2001 and has starred in many popular dramas since then, including “Angel ‘n’ Devil” (2014) “Love Myself or You” (2014), “Lady Maid Maid” (2012) and “My Queen” (2009).

Can anything be more important than comics and good food? 

Du Kai Qi (Puff Guo) is an independent, single woman who loves comic books and her job as a sous chef in the fine-dining French restaurant, Figaro Cuisine. When an unassuming man, Fu Zi Jie (Jasper Liu), moves in next door, they immediately begin to bicker over trivial matters. 

But when Zi Jie shows up as a new employee at her restaurant, Kai Qi, as well as other staff members, mistake him for a lowly intern, not knowing that Zi Jie is a classically trained chef who just returned from France and that Figaro Cuisine is actually his father’s restaurant.
