Kim Sung Soo is a South Korean actor who was born on May 23, 1975. He studied at Kyung Hee University and made his acting debut in 1995, when he appeared in the drama series “Adults Don’t Know.” He went on to star in a number of hit drama a movie titles in the early 2000s, such as the 2003 film “Sweet Sex and Love” and the 2004 drama “Full House.” More recently, he has starred in the dramas “Should We Kiss First?” (2018) and “The Road: The Tragedy of One” (2021).

Rain’s fame expanded to the United States in 2006 with several sold-out shows in Madison Square Garden and Las Vegas. He was included in People magazine’s “Most Beautiful People” issue in 2007. He appeared in the Hollywood films “Speed Racer” in 2008 and in 2009’s “Ninja Assassin,” for which he received the Biggest Badass Award at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards.
