A serial killer is on the loose, preying on women who share a similar appearance. Top detective Cha Ji An (Jang Na Ra) is dispatched to the case, but as she and her team investigate the latest crime scene, her childhood friend Lee Hyun (Seo In Guk), a criminal profiler, joins them. He received an anonymous email that he believes to be from the serial killer, containing clues that Lee Hyun believes may be linked to an escaped criminal “monster” from his childhood who killed his father and was responsible for the disappearance of his younger brother. Ji An is cautiously optimistic to see Lee Hyun again, as she had a crush on him when they were kids, but he doesn’t seem to remember her at all.
