Kim Da Som is a South Korean singer and actress best known for being a member of the K-pop girl group SISTAR. Born on May 6, 1993, Da Som won a number of contests for her poems and songwriting prior to her 2010 debut with SISTAR. She made her acting debut in the 2012 television drama “Shut Up Family” and went on to star in “Melody of Love” (2014) and “The Eccentric Daughter-in-Law” (2015), as well as the film “Like a French Movie” (2015). Dasom also has been a popular guest of the reality shows “Running Man,” “Law of the Jungle” and “My Little Television.”

Go Doo Shim is a celebrated veteran South Korean actress who has enjoyed a prolific career in film, television, theater and radio. Born on May 22, 1951, she made her acting debut in the 1972 television series “Chief Inspector” and is known for playing the tirelessly devoted mother figure in many of her works. Go Doo Shim has won the Grand Prize (Daesang), the top award in acting, a record number of six times for her roles in the television dramas “Fetters of Love” (1989), “The Dancing Gayageum” (1990), “My Husband’s Woman” (1992), “Virtue” (2000), “Ode to the Han River” (2004) and “More Beautiful Than a Flower” (2004). Born on December 9, 1978, he made his acting debut in the 1997 television series “New Generation Report: Adults Just Don’t Know.” He has since starred in many popular films, TV movies and dramas, including “Creating Destiny” (2009), “Royal Family” (2011), “To the Beautiful You” (2012), “Scandal: A Shocking and Wrongful Incident” (2013) and “The Eccentric Daughter-in-Law” (2015). In addition to acting, Ki Tae Young released a couple of singles and an EP in 2012. He married actress Eugene in 2011, and they welcomed a daughter in 2015. The couple and their daughter, Rohee, joined the cast of the popular reality series “The Return of Superman,” in December 2015.

K-pop idol Oh In Yeong (Kim Da Som) has had a rough time, as her girl group is not as popular as it used to be. To try and improve her public popularity, she reluctantly accepts an offer to join a reality show that pairs women with eldest sons as they play the part of a daughter-in-law to the man’s family. In Yeong is assigned to Cha Myeong Seok (Ryu Soo Young) and his mother Yang Chun Ja (Go Doo Shim), who hail from a traditional family. Chun Ja disapproves of In Yeong, leading to tension between the two women, but Myeong Seok begins to develop real romantic feelings toward In Yeong. Will In Yeong and Chun Ja become real in-laws, or will Chun Ja successfully drive In Yeong away?
