Chun Jung Myung is a South Korean actor. Born on November 29, 1980, he made his acting debut in the 1999 television drama “School 2.” Many film and television roles have followed, including “Cinderella’s Sister” (2010), “Glory Jane” (2011), “Heart to Heart” (2015), “Master: God of Noodles” (2016) and “Love Alert” (2018). Chun Jung Myung also has appeared on a number of variety shows and in the music videos of famous music artists. He is self-managed after starting his own management company in 2011.

In 2015, Gong Seung Yeon gained wider fame after being matched as the pretend wife of Lee Jong Hyun in the popular reality series “We Got Married Season 4” and she appeared with younger sister Yoo Jeongyeon (a member of the K-pop girl group TWICE) on the reality show “We Are Siblings” in 2016. Choi Soon Seok (Chun Jung Myung) is the son of a famed master noodle chef who specializes in buckwheat noodle dishes. However, one horrible night, Soon Seok’s parents are killed in an arson attack, with Soon Seok managing to survive by escaping. He manages to catch a glimpse of the culprit: Kim Gil Do (Jo Jae Hyun), a man from a troubled family who previously stole Soon Seok’s father’s book of recipes. Soon Seok considers reporting the incident to the police, but instead decides to get revenge on his own and moves into an orphanage until he grows up, adopting the name “Mu Myeong.” As an adult, Mu Myeong vows to carry out his revenge, infiltrating Gil Do’s inner circle to expose the truth about the now-successful restauranteur, no matter the cost. This drama was adapted from the comic “God of Noodles” by Park In Kwon.
