Moon Geun Young is a South Korean actress who has been dubbed “the nation’s little sister.” Born on May 6, 1987, she began modeling and working as a child actress at the age of 12. She became a star after appearing in the popular television drama “Autumn in My Heart” in 2000. After appearing in the blockbuster films “My Little Bride” in 2004 and “Innocent Steps” in 2005, Moon Geun Young became the youngest winner of the Daesang (Grand Prize) at the 2008 SBS Drama Awards for her role in the drama “Painter in the Wind.” The winner of many Best Actress awards, Moon Geun Young has easily made the transition into adult roles, most notably in “Cinderella’s Sister” (2010), “Mary Me, Mary!” (2010), “Cheongdam-dong Alice” (2012), “Jung Yi, Goddess of Fire” (2013) and “The Village: Achiara’s Secret” (2015).

Even before his debut with BTOB in 2012, Yook Sungjae made his acting debut in the television series “Living in Chungdamdong.” He went on to star in the popular dramas “Monstar” (2013), “Reply 1994” (2013), “Plus Nine Boys” (2014), “Who Are You: School 2015” (2015), “The Village: Achiara’s Secret” (2015) and “Goblin” (2016-2017). In 2014, Yook Sungjae became an MC for the music variety program “A Song for You” and also appeared on the popular reality series “We Got Married Season 4” with pretend wife Joy of Red Velvet (2015).

Jang Hee Jin is a South Korean actress. Born on May 9, 1983, she began her career as a model for fashion magazines. Born on December 11, 1983, he made his acting debut with a minor role in the 2002 television drama “Rustic Period.” He has since starred in many popular films and television dramas, including the recent dramas “Twelve Men in a Year” (2012), “The Blade and Petal” (2013), “Surplus Princess” (2014), “Punch” (2014) and “The Village: Achiara’s Secret” (2015), “Dear Fair Lady Kong Shim” (2016) and “Man Who Sets the Table” (2017-2018).

Shin Eun Kyung is an award-winning veteran South Korean actress. Born on February 15, 1973, she started her career appearing in commercials at the age of 13. She began hosting the television variety show “Beautiful Morning With Shin Eun Kyung and Kim Chang Wan” in 1997 and then made her acting debut in the 1988 television series “Door of Desire.” But it was her role in the hit 1997 film “Downfall” that elevated her to star status, and the 2002 film “My Wife Is a Gangster” is still considered her most famous role to date. Some of her recent popular roles include “Scandal: A Shocking and Wrongful Incident” (2013), “Your Neighbor’s Wife” (2013) and “The Village: Achiara’s Secret” (2015). Shin Eun Kyung also has been a professor at Seoul Hoseo Art College’s Department of Performing Arts since 2011.

She made her acting debut in the 2013-2014 drama series “I Can’t Take it Anymore.” She followed up with a role in the series “High School King of Savvy” (2014) and in 2015 scooped the New Star prize at the SBS Drama Awards. More recently, she has appeared in variety shows, such as “Law of the Jungle,” and has appeared in drama titles including “Queen: Love and War” (2019).

Achiara is known as a quiet and peaceful village with hardly any crime. One day, Han So Yoon moves to the village to start her career as an English teacher. On her first day in the village, she accidentally finds a buried corpse. Her discovery shocks not only the town but also the villagers. And the villagers start to speculate on the identity of the dead person, and who and what made her get killed. The victim is known to be Kim Hye Jin who teaches painting in the town. And Yoon Ji Sook is suspected as the culprit. However, as the investigation led by So Yoon and the police develops, it turns out that more people could be involved and that the case is more complicated than how it looks. And the story grows more mysterious.
