Moon Geun Young is a South Korean actress who has been dubbed “the nation’s little sister.” Born on May 6, 1987, she began modeling and working as a child actress at the age of 12. She became a star after appearing in the popular television drama “Autumn in My Heart” in 2000. After appearing in the blockbuster films “My Little Bride” in 2004 and “Innocent Steps” in 2005, Moon Geun Young became the youngest winner of the Daesang (Grand Prize) at the 2008 SBS Drama Awards for her role in the drama “Painter in the Wind.” The winner of many Best Actress awards, Moon Geun Young has easily made the transition into adult roles, most notably in “Cinderella’s Sister” (2010), “Mary Me, Mary!” (2010), “Cheongdam-dong Alice” (2012), “Jung Yi, Goddess of Fire” (2013) and “The Village: Achiara’s Secret” (2015).

On Ju Wan is the stage name of Song Jeong Sik, a South Korean actor. Born on December 11, 1983, he made his acting debut with a minor role in the 2002 television drama “Rustic Period.” He has since starred in many popular films and television dramas, including the recent dramas “Twelve Men in a Year” (2012), “The Blade and Petal” (2013), “Surplus Princess” (2014), “Punch” (2014) and “The Village: Achiara’s Secret” (2015), “Dear Fair Lady Kong Shim” (2016) and “Man Who Sets the Table” (2017-2018).

Shin Eun Kyung is an award-winning veteran South Korean actress. Born on February 15, 1973, she started her career appearing in commercials at the age of 13. She began hosting the television variety show “Beautiful Morning With Shin Eun Kyung and Kim Chang Wan” in 1997 and then made her acting debut in the 1988 television series “Door of Desire.” But it was her role in the hit 1997 film “Downfall” that elevated her to star status, and the 2002 film “My Wife Is a Gangster” is still considered her most famous role to date. Some of her recent popular roles include “Scandal: A Shocking and Wrongful Incident” (2013), “Your Neighbor’s Wife” (2013) and “The Village: Achiara’s Secret” (2015). Shin Eun Kyung also has been a professor at Seoul Hoseo Art College’s Department of Performing Arts since 2011.

Jang So Yeon

After discovering a strange letter after her grandmother’s death, Han So Yoon (Moon Geun Young) moves to the village of Achiara, known for its quiet, peaceful environment, to start her career as an English teacher. However, on her very first day there, she accidentally uncovers the buried corpse of art teacher Hye Jin (Jang Hee Jin), throwing the village into chaos. Rookie police officer Park Woo Jae (Yook Sung Jae) teams up with So Yoon to try and solve the case, but the two soon find that Achiara and its residents hold even more secrets than they ever could have imagined.
