Kang Yeon Doo (Jung Eunji) is an average sophomore who attends a highly competitive high school. She is the leader of Real King, the school’s dance group that clashes with the White Tigers, the school’s academic club reserved for the students in the top 5% led by the school’s number one student, Kim Yeol (Lee Won Keun). While her childhood friend Ha Dong Jae (N) struggles to overcome his physical contact disability, another student, Kwon Soo Ah (Chae Soo Bin) threatens both Real King and the White Tigers unless the two clubs form a cheerleading team to boost her resume. Kim Yeol is forced to lead the White Tigers into cheerleading to help his best friend Seo Ha Joon (Ji Soo), and his sincerity convinces Yeon Doo to do the same. Under the guidance of teachers, the team learns to overcome differences and become friends in the midst of immense parental pressure and preparation for their regional competition. “Sassy Go Go” is a 2015 South Korean drama series directed by Lee Eun Jin.
