Accountant Kim Sung Ryong (Namkoong Min) has had an unconventional career: instead of ensuring financial compliance, he helps his mobster boss avoid taxes without a trace. In search of even more money, Sung Ryong successfully gets hired as a middle manager in the accounting department at TQ Group, where he plans to embezzle company funds. There, he meets assistant manager Yoon Ha Kyung (Nam Sang Mi), former prosecutor-turned-finance director Seo Yul (Lee Jun Ho), and intern Hong Ga Eun (Jung Hye Sung), who become his new coworkers.
