An Oriental Odyssey

Ye Yuan An (Wu Qian), the daughter of the Assistant Minister of Revenue during the Tang Dynasty, is an amateur sleuth with a passion for solving mysteries. She constantly challenges Zhao Lan Zhi (Zhang Yu Jian), a dedicated police officer, in her investigative pursuits. With the help of Mu Le (Zheng Ye Cheng), a young servant she rescued and took into her household, Yuan An finds herself entangled in increasingly complex cases. As their investigations progress, Yuan An is shocked to uncover a startling secret about Mu Le's true identity, which threatens to change everything she knows. This is a 2018 Chinese historical mystery drama based on a novel by Miao Juan.
