Sandra Ma is the stage name of Ma Sichun, a Chinese actress. Born on March 14, 1988, she made her acting debut at the age of 7 in the 1995 film “The Winter of Three Persons," which starred her aunt, actress Jiang Wenli. Sandra Ma went on to star in the 2012 film “Time Flies Soundlessly,” for which she won the Best New Actress Award at the 14th China Film Society of Performing Art Awards, and is known for her role in the 2015 coming-of-age film “The Left Ear.” Some of her popular television dramas include “Refresh 3+7” (2012), “Love Is the Most Beautiful” (2014), “The Empress of China” (2014), “Close Your Eyes and Close to Me” (2015), “Love Me, If You Dare” (2015) and “Oh My General” (2017).

Born on October 21, 1992, he made his acting debut in the 2013 television drama “Flowers in Fog.” He has since appeared in a number of popular television dramas, including “Fifteen Years to Wait for Migratory Birds” (2016), “Because of Meeting You” (2017), “Sweet Dreams” (2018) and “Ashes of Love” (2018).

Ni Hong Jie is a Chinese actress and model born in Changshu, China, on June 9, 1978. She studied in the Economics and Management Department of Tongji University, Shanghai, and made her modeling debut in a clothes commercial in 2001. The following year, she made her drama debut, and in 2003 made her silver screen bow in the movie “Double Dating.” She went on to appear in the 2006 hit drama “My Own Swordsman,” as well as the series’ movie follow-up of the same name in 2010. In 2013 she scooped the Best Actress prize at the Golden Koala Chinese Film Festival for her role in the movie “The Blue Bone” (2013). More recently, she has appeared in the drama series “Soul Ferryman 3” (2016) and “Mr. Fighting” (2019).

Ni Hong Jie

Han Tong Sheng is a Chinese actor born on June 1, 1955, in Beijing, China. He studied drama at the education wing of the National Theatre of China, and made his acting debut in 1988, appearing in a Chinese remake of Soviet movie “The Irony of Fate,” playing the lead male role. The film was a hit, and Han Tong Sheng received the Best Actor prize at the Plum Blossom Awards for his performance. He has since gone on to appear in numerous film and drama titles, including the drama “Tiger Mon” (2014) and the movie “City of Rock” (2017). More recently, he has featured in “The People’s Assets” (2019) and “Mr. Fighting” (2019).

Han Tong Sheng

Zhang Wen is a Chinese actress. She was born on September 12, 1986 in Shanghai, China and made her acting debut in 2008. Since then, she has appeared in both film and numerous television dramas, including “Oh My General” (2017), “Mr. Fighting” (2019), “Three Lives, Three Worlds: The Pillow Book” (2020), and “Douluo Continent” (2020).

Zhang Wen

Zhu Jia Qi is a Chinese actor who was born on July 27, 1994, in n Handan, Hebei Province, China. He graduated from the Department of Performance at Tongji University. He debuted in 2014, and appeared in a number of dramas that year, including “He and His Sons.” He has since gone on to appear in a number of notable drama series titles, including the more recent “Mr. Fighting” (2019) and “Irreplaceable Love” (2020).

Ten years ago, Hao Ze Yu (Deng Lun) thought he was on his way to stardom. His appearance on popular talent competition led to widespread adulation, but fame proved fleeting for him. A decade later, he has all but left behind his dreams of becoming a top-level celebrity.

But things change quickly when he meets a motley crew of supportive individuals who want to help him turn his career around.

The group comprises a taxi driver (Han Tong Sheng) and his daughter Fu Zi (Sandra Ma). Fu Zi is a bright spark but has long been criticized for being overweight. Their number is made up by Mei Li (Ni Hong Jie), a beautiful woman now entering middle age.

Fu Zi decides to become Hao Ze Yu’s agent, and the trio forms a support network for him – trying to propel him back to stardom.

But the path to fame will not be smooth, and things get complicated when romantic interests threaten to derail their quest – and put an end to their budding four-way friendship.

Will Hao Ze Yu get another shot at stardom? Or will love send him down another, very different path?

This drama is based on a 2017 hit novel by author Zi You Ji Guang and is the third and final part of the “Gentleman” trilogy. The first two dramas in the series were “To Be a Better Man” (2016) and “Mr. Right” (2018).

“Mr. Fighting” is a 2019 Viki Original Chinese drama directed by Liu Xin.
