Wu Xin: The Monster Killer

Wu Xin (Elvis Han), an immortal soul with the ability to communicate with spirits, wanders the world in perpetual poverty. During the Qing dynasty, he encounters Li Yue Ya (Jin Chen), a woman fleeing an arranged marriage. After meeting by chance in the mountains, they form an unlikely partnership, disguising themselves as a monk and his sister to become monster hunters. Together, they travel the world, battling vile creatures and finding adventure, fortune, and unexpected love. Wu Xin takes Yue Ya under his protection, using his supernatural abilities to help them survive and thrive in a dangerous world. This is an action-packed 2015 Chinese fantasy drama based on Ni Luo's novel, directed by Lin Yufen and Gao Linbao.
