Skate into Love

Li Yu Bing (Steven Zhang) is a shy boy who dreams of becoming a professional hockey player, but struggles with his loud and abrasive tablemate Tang Xue (Wu Qian) during elementary school. Years later, they reunite at university, where Li Yu Bing is a celebrated hockey player and Tang Xue's speed skating dreams are fading. Initially seeking revenge, Li Yu Bing enlists Tang Xue as his assistant, hoping to torment her. However, they gradually develop mutual respect and inspiration, helping each other rediscover their passion for sports. Their journey is complicated by disapproving parents and romantic rivals who challenge their growing relationship. Can this two former childhood enemies transform their rivalry into a supportive partnership on and off the ice? Based on a novel by Jiu Xiao Qi, "Skate into Love" is a 2020 Chinese drama series directed by Chu Yui Bun.
