In a fantasy realm of mortal clans and warring deities, Mu Chen (Roy Wang), son of a clan leader, seeks answers about his mother who fled when he was young. While traveling the Spiritual Road, he rescues Luo Li (Na Na Ouyang), a princess from the Eastern Heavens realm, from violent attackers. Initially cold, Luo Li becomes charmed by Mu Chen's heroism, and they form a close bond, eventually developing romantic feelings. As they join forces, they navigate a world where gods and mortals clash in a battle of strength, magic, and cunning. Their journey is filled with challenges that test their resolve and potential love. This drama, based on a novel by Li Hu published in 2013 that also inspired an animated series, is a 2019 Chinese fantasy drama directed by Zhang Meng and Feng Cheng.
